Women’s Ministry

FMC Women’s Ministry is an outreach to any women who want to connect with God and other women of faith. We have a Potluck luncheon and Bible Study on the 4th Saturday of each month. If there is a need in the church we have gathered together to accomplish it! Clean and organize the Fellowship Hall. We have planted new plants outside of in the church garden. We have done some fundraisers for special projects in the community. (Our famous “Pfferneuse” cookies are a big hit each year for the holidays.)

Children Monthly Program

We have Sunday school for children of all ages.
Every first Sunday of the month we have a special children’s program at 10:30 a.m. Helen Toevs creatively give a Bible lesson fit not only for children but to adults also.
It is our firm belief that God’s Word planted in the heart of children is an important way to guide them as they grow and develop faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

American Sign Language

Our congregation has two Deaf persons and therefore we make a deliberate effort to include them in our worship service. At every worship service we have a hymn signed, via video projector, and Lilian Romero helps interpret the sermon to our Deaf members. We admit this ministry is its developing stage; however, we pray it grows to be a blessing to the Hard of Hearing and Deaf who worship with us.

Salt of the Earth Project

Feature films and documentaries are shown the third Saturday of each month at 7:00 P.M. Its purpose is to both to explore the history and principles of Peace and Justice and to gain better fluency in discussing difficult social, economic and environment issues.
For those attending, an optional facilitated discussion related to the film will follow each screening. Audience participation in this discussion is encouraged and welcome.

Popcorn is served and admission is free!
